I am pretty new to the world of error coins and I'm unsure about this quarter I came across tonight. On the obverse the "United States of America" especially the "America" is kind of hard to see while the rest of the letters are perfectly easily to make out and bold. Is this a weak strike or an adjustment strike? There's so many different classes of errors with similar characteristics so I just want to make sure I'm getting it right. I can't post a photo from my phone but I hope the description is good enough to get a rough idea.

Can anyone help me figure this out?

to CCF. A photo would help a lot but going by your description I would say it's a Grease Filled Die.
