2000-P Maryland State Quarter Error?

errornewbie721 New Member United States 1 Posts	Posted 07/09/2012 03:12 am I am pretty new to the world of error coins and I'm unsure about this quarter I came across tonight. On the obverse the "United States of America" especially the "America" is kind of hard to see while the rest of the letters are perfectly easily to make out and bold. Is this a weak strike or an adjustment strike? There's so many different classes of errors with similar characteristics so I just want to make sure I'm getting it right. I can't post a photo from my phone but I hope the description is good enough to get a rough idea. Can anyone help me figure this out? Report this Post to the Staff
