He did so while asking for nothing in return. I thought about sending him something anyway, but it would be a blind gesture as I don't know what he wants or needs. So I am going to pay it forward. This contest will be open to anyone, but honestly it is geared to our newbies and/or youth here... The ones of us that don't have as much yet. I am even going to give the winner a choice of items. The winner can pick one of the offerings that best suits them. Thanks to IndianGoldEagle! The Contest: Fill in the blank... "When wrongs are pressed because it is believed they will be borne, resistance becomes _________________." ~Thomas Jefferson No edits allowed. One answer per post. One post per day, per member. Break the rules, you are DQ. The winner can choose one of the following, free of charge: A: A very pretty 1948-D Jefferson nickel in BU. No pic, but it is uncirculated, and has a gorgeous champangne tone to it, evenly across both sides of the coin. Great eye appeal! It was my grandfather's coin, and it would be in my Dansco if it wasn't a duplicate. This is the one I'd choose, but I wanted to give a choice... B: A 2003 $1 star note. It has been circulated, but is actually in decent shape, better than average for circulated. Still has plenty of 'crisp' to it. No pic. C: A 1957-A $1 silver cert, star note. Well circulated.
