triggersmob Pillar of the Community Australia 9416 Posts	Posted 02/28/2007 07:14 am I received an invite today from the Perth Mint. It is to attened the release of the 50th Anniversary of the S.A.S.(Special Air Service) coin. It is being held later in March at the Campbell Barracks in Perth, home of the S.A.S. Did anyone else get an invite? Does anyone know anything about this coin? There is no info on the Perth Mint web site and I was wondering how much the coin will sell for. It sounds like it will quiet an event, with the Governor-General in attendance and morning tea served after the official proceedings. Steve Report this Post to the Staff

I am not flush with funds at the moment and may be struggling to buy one for myself. The lady I spoke to could tell me nothing about the coin, so I still don't know it's denomination or how much it will sell for.
