My Father gave this to me today. It belonged to my Grandfather. I believe it was presented to all soldiers who served in the English army during world war II. It even comes with it's own little box. Does anyone have any information on this badge.

according to the newspaper the daily express, in december 1944 this silver round badge was to be awarded to those injured in military service. I have a link to the news article I found if you would like it. I'll try to use the contact member feature to send you the info.

dear scout jim 99,

I emailed the link with info to triggersmob and a link regarding an ebay auction for this same item he has asked about. The emails seemed to go through without an error message. Is that function not allowed until 50 posts as well?

I thank you both, for your replies. E-mail function should not be available to members until they have 50 posts, but I received both e-mails anyway, thanks garretterika.

Jim, you most certainly have my permission to post this picture elsewhere, thank you. Also, I will re send my list of Lincolns.

Steve

if I am not mistaken it is 20 posts to email and 50 posts to trade/sell. I am not 100% sure on this or anything but I have gotten emails from others that had around the 20 post minimum
