The Mercury dimes have small/large dates? Hmm. I had no idea. I apparently need to dive into Mercury dimes more. I've been looking more at Morgans, Buffalos and pennies.
Quote: Thank goodness there aren't holes for 1928-S small/large S, 1934-D small/large D, 1941-S small/trumpet-tail S, 1942-S and 1943-S trumpet-tail/large S, 1944-S large/knob-tail S, 1945-S knob-tail/trumpet-tail/micro S. For that matter, nobody seems to even acknowledge the two distinct sub-types of 1917 and corresponding mint-mark styles, let alone make holes for them...
SSSHHHHHHHhh. If Whitman reads this they'll change all their Albums to contain those too.
It could be worse. Most albums have holes for 1922 plain cents and three-legged Buffalo nickels. Imagine if there were holes for broken-nose Mercury dimes!
