Can anyone tell me which variety this is? Coins and Canada has 2 varieties listed but not 2 pictures for comparison. Thanks.

Their website gives you a choice between
Obverse #2 or Avers #3.
Is that a misprint or are there more varieties?

There are more obverses for the 5 cent coins bot not for 1880.

Misprint,should be Obverse2 or Obverse3
Coinsandcanada's guide is translated from their french original sometimes not faithfuly

Might make vg8 in hand.Nothing bad about a Victorian coin that has all the major design elements and can be had for less than 10 bucks.

See Charlton - Obverse Type - F1/2/3/4/5 - Refers to lock of hair above ear, but you can't see it enough to differentiate if worn in this condition
