Yes, I know this is in the wrong category. Unfortunately, Coin Community does not have an appropriate thread for the following topic.

What is with the new ads of seductive women in bikinis, displayed at the bottom of every new discussion I read? Is that necessary?

Most online ads are geared toward what your browsing habits are. Not sure what company/type of ads this site uses but it would reason to believe they use a company that would follow this trend and so it may just be...you. lol

Could also be a mistake. Could be targeted ads for coin collectors and the system mixed up some links or something somewhere. I wouldn't worry too much about it, just don't click on anything...

I haven't seen any ads like you described. Lots of car ads though for some reason.

I want to know why that isn't at the bottom of every discussion lol.

But in all seriousness you may have a virus on your computer

The Adsense ads work based on the the content of the page and where the user has been elsewhere on the internet. If you were on NewEgg shopping for a new computer, you may see NewEgg ads on completely different sites afterwards. Members don't all see the same ads. So if your wife or daughter or you was shopping for a bikini on that computer, that would explain it.

Anyone can email me the landing page of an ad and I can block it though.

That makes sense. But, the ads are for Casinos in Vegas? Something that is of no interest to me.

I guess they will go away at some point!
