Is it possible for there to be a green patina on a 1/10 gold eagle? A friend of mine said it looked like something on the surface and not really patina, however it was graded by PCGS with a MS69. I do understand there is copper and silver in these.

Oh yes it is my first gold bullion coin I have purchased. PCGS case looks legitimate and checks out with the grade and date.
