This coin is just a littel smaller than a penny.

I don't recognize it either, but I'll bet someone on this forum will know it. BTW, welcome

Judging from the first pic, I make out a "15" at 9:00. It looks like a coat of arms that I don't recognize. Most likely it's from the medieval era--or later?

Very interesting - I see a crown, a face and crossed swords in the first pic but not sure what style they are in. I would not have guessed 1500s but as DVC has said it does seem to have a '15' on the left of whatever the main design is . The reverse has me totally stumped. It strikes me as a modern interpretation of a European medieval style . Whatever it is it looks cool and will no doubt be recognised by someone soon.

Saxony-Ernestine 3 Pfennig. Not positive on the ruler, but I think it's Johann Friedrich I and Georg 1534-1539.

Good catch DCH. I know I would never in a million years find this. Very nice.

Its a coat of arms with crest and plume, pretty cool. Could probably identify the crest and find out exactly where its from
