Are we interested in another Smackdown? If so, I will volunteer to moderate. Also any good ideas for subject matter. How about Flavians, or Severans, or land animals?

I like the idea of the smackdowns. How about ancient coins with just helmets, it would be tough. Maybe the many faces of Blank....apollo, artemis, herakles, Persephone etc. Kings of the Persian satraps?
Go for it!

You DO know we have a couple of Severan specialists on this forum echizento. It would be tough to beat one of them, but it might be interesting. Personally I like the Flavians. It's a fairly narrow category.

I know, it should be interesting to see what they post. On the other hand you are running the show on this one so whichever one you choose is fine.

If it's up to me, I have it narrowed down to three possible topics:
1. The Flavians 2. The Nerva-Antonine Dynasty 3. The Severans.
Any other thoughts besides Ancientnoob and echizento?

I vote for Flavians, only because I have more than one of these. The Severans are cool too, and would be interesting to see who would win, I know I wouldn't. It's not the winning that's important, but all the cool coins you get to see.

Roman enemies. Romans with Greek instead of Latin? Roman Tetradrachms? Coins after 400 AD but before "fall"

I have some coins for #1 and #2, but not #3.
I have a very general idea. That's to do a Roman Provincial SMACKDOWN.
Otherwise, either 1 or 2 is fine with me.

I'll be knocked out cold in a Roman smackdown How about figures from mythology sometime--male, female, animals?
