Easiest way is probably ebay if you want to sell them as one hoard. If you have bigger pre euros more than few, then there are services like http://www.euromoney24.com where you can send some pre euros. They always take their share but in my opinion it's quite a fair in that service mentioned.

No doubt you have taken all of the more valuable coins out.
Sell the remainder on ebay, as a job lot. Just describe the lot truthfully.

I haven't bothered with my lot of about 200 coins, not worth bothering with. The value of my lot I would consider my lot to be worth $10 to $20. Take out of that ebay costs. That is why I haven't bothered.

I'm fortunate in that I've got three brick'n'mortar coin dealers in my city, and all three deal in world coins as well as Australian; I can take bulk surplus coins into any one of them to offload them.

So check your local coin dealers and see if they're prepared to take them off your hands for you. Sure, you might not get top dollar for them, but it would probably be much less hassle than trying to ebay them.

For smaller quantities and for slightly pricier coins, I usually sell them through the quarterly "auctions" run my my coin club.
