Counterfeit/Fake (?) $20 And $5 Notes With Chinese/Japanese Counterstamp

basicbob101 Pillar of the Community United States 819 Posts	Posted 07/27/2012 5:30 pm I bought these at an antiques store (wondering why)and after I got them home and out of the frames for a closer look I am wishing I hadn't bought them. The ink and colors look good but there is an absence of the red and blue lint in the paper. The chinese/japanese counter stamp probably reads "there's a sucker born every minute" or something similar. Anyway, what are they, are they legal to own, and what might they be worth (I paid $10 each for them). any info appreciated, Thanksz, bob Report this Post to the Staff
