Maybe I will need to start a "Refrigerator" section for all of the artwork. (You know, like I do for all the drawings, tracings, and general artwork that I get from my kids.) As a mother, I'd love to do that and we could all admire each other's Coin Art. What do you think?

Oh I used to do that when I was a kid about 13 years ago.

My favourite coins for tracing were the old 1940s two shilling pieces that I used to pull from circulation, afterall they had old king George on them rather than the boring and ubiquitous Elizabeth II.

I had alot of time on my hands. :)

I used to do that too! That also reminded me of when I was a kid and I would help my dad with his geneaology research by making rubbings of old gravestones. All of our family vacations were taken someplace near a cemetary that Dad wanted to see, so I have a lot of pictures of my sister and I as kids playing in among the stones. Might explain a lot about the way I am now...? (I'll say it before any of you can! )
