Lamination is not "color streaking" it is "A thin piece of metal that has nearly become detached from the surface of a coin" The "color streaking" "Resulted from impurities in the alloy or concentrations of pure copper that did not properly blend with the 5% tin and zinc added to it".
"The Numismatic Glossary" calls it "woodgrain" we call them woodies for short.
