Hi Metalman....

You may have an interesting Aussie 2 cents coin there. From your photo I have taken the liberty of blowing up the image and cannot see the designer's initials between the two front paws of the frilled necked lizard.

Stuart Devlin is the designer, and his initials "SD" should be there between the two front paws. Have a close look again at your coin and if the initials are indeed missing, you have in your hands a rather quite rare coin that is sought after by error & varieties collectors.

Hi Guys
The initials are there, but between to the left of the front paw and the right of the forward rear paw, I believe that is where they appear in your image lim118,,

Thanks for the heads up though !!

When I think of all those rare coins and errors that slipped out of the country during the second world war and vietnam in the pockets of the yanks my hands tremble, knees shakes and the lips quiver.... please help restore my health by digging through the kitchen drawers and under the mattress and send those little aussie critters back home to me, besides they dont have a green card though some may have green spots lol er I know lets forget about prisoner exchange programs lets just focus on coin exchange programs lol hmm I like the sound of it. Ill start things of I have a 1988 1 cent that appears to have not been fully centred before it was struck and has what appears to be a die clash on one side...I had another one cent coin that I cant seem to find at the moment it looks a bit like the golden gate bridge I picked it up in San Francisco in mid eighties lol[:p][:p]
