It's thin...I don't have a scale. Hopefully I'll have a weight sometime tomorrow afternoon. Some of the lighter shades visible on the obverse in front of Lincolns head almost appear to be luster...

Looks normal to me. large, early stage Cud perhaps...

I don't see the metal grain striations you would expect to see with a pre- or post-strike split planchet. If it is light, then it is most likely struck on thin stock. With further investigation, a weight along with specific gravity measurement or XRF analysis could be cross-referenced with foreign coins minted in the US at the time to see if any of those planchet match up.

The rim from 10:00 to 12:30 looks like a Cud forming?

I remember seeing the striations on a coin I found awhile back. I don't see anything on this one. When I showed it to my local dealer, he mentioned "thin stock" also.

Being thin could mean that the blank came from the end of the sheet stock.
