Probably my favorite. Don't mind the tag, the sleeves these bills are in are old.

Great note but I would get it out of that oily old PVC holder and into a newer acetate or mylar holder to preserve the note.

I remember reading that these Educational Notes were intended to instruct those folks who could not read.
Especially the Youth of America.
Can somebody either confirm this or correct me?

That is a beautiful work of art. Wish recent notes were more like that. Very nice! It would make spending more fun...I think

Thats a quality note, and a desirable one...

I have looked at buying these and for any note of decent condition I think they are just a bit more than I want to spend. Your's looks very presentable but even tatty ones seem to be raising a bit on the bay.

What a wonderful note! I wish I could get all three from this series, only if they weren't so expensive.

I am not sure if they were intended to instruct the illiterate. The $1 educational note is titled "History Instructing Youth."

With reference to Wikipedia, it says:

(The term "Educational" is derived from the title of the vignette on the $1 note, "History Instructing Youth")

One of my favorite notes that I wish to obtain in XF condition & to be graded by either PMG or PCGS ...

Lovely one you have, though

Cheers
