there are some raised dots on that coin that concern me a little bit even though it doesn't look like a cast copy those raised dots usually do not equal anything good on a Trade dollar

If it is real, it certainly looks to have had a cleaning at some point.

The coin looks nice except for the raised dots on both sides. It looks like it is silver and the toning appears to be that of a real coin. You might want to send this one in to a TPG. I'm holding off on grading this one because I'm just not sure based on what I see in the photos.

I think the "dots" are some sort of reflection. Here are two alternate views. When were the fakes made? I bought this one about 40 years ago for about $15. What a difference lighting makes. It hard to believe they are the same coin.

The dots in the first photos have shadows by them which means they are raised. You've got the coin in hand so check with a 10x or better glass and see if there is anything on the coin. One big one above the right arm and under each star directly above that. A couple in the field just to the right of the top of the wheat. A few below the left wing. I don't see these in the other set of photos you posted.
If those raised dots are not really there, the coin looks good and should grade out around AU-55. Does not appear to be cleaned.

uncirculated details...third party grading needed to authenticate!

Here is a portion of the picture. The picture was taken with harsh lighting to show scratches and defects. It is a spot light that is about 5 degrees from perpendicular. What look like raised bumps look more like bag marks. It is something like finding faces on Mars.

Ray I see the bag marks but I'm also seeing those raised bumps. Look above the arm and also to the right and blow the star on the left. I also don't like that ragged edge on see on the top of the arm and all the little bumps on the arm. This one really needs to go to a TPG to be authenticated.
