I found this at the in-laws with their coin collection. Any help would be great! Sorry for the poor picture quality.

It's a medal, not a coin. The coloured bits on the shield are enamelling, and that's how the medal was originally issued. This website has another one, with its loop still attached; yours presumably had one at some stage too.

Googling the exact phrase "Toronto old boys at home" comes up with four hits, all of which (except for the one I linked to above) are examples of this medal being sold on ebay or Kijiji. So I'm afraid I can't tell you much about who they were, since these medals seem to be the only surviving evidence for their existence.
