Hello, new member here.

I have a question regarding this particular coin which I had found while rummaging through my closet the other day. Now I'm not sure if its a minting mistake or some kind of fluke but apparently its what appears to be a bifacial coin, where one side is the "tails" side of a penny, while the other happens to be also the "tails" side of a dime. Can anyone here care to lend their expertise as well as how much this coin could possibly be worth? Thanks.

P.S.: Please disregard the date that this photo was taken. I really need to update my camera settings.

Unfortunately, the value would depend on whether you spend it dime side up, or penny side up. Someone has married two halves of two coins together, and judging from the photograph, neatly trimmed down the penny side to fit the dime side.

You do see double sided coins come up from time to time, and I really hate to break the news. It's probably got more "Hey, that's cool" value than you could possibly sell it for. But, then again, who knows? Like I said, it looks like they did a very good job on it.

Yes, what you have is a Magicians coin. Cool, but not much value.

It's funny how you forget words, when you rarely use english any more. :) I could not, for the life of me, remember the term, and if the term I knew was in english, russian, german or french... I just knew it wasn't in spanish, tzo'tujil, kakchiquel, or kek'chi.
