I enjoyed it, 1921.
I suspect that Canada, as did the US, minted a large number of coins during
the First World War. Would you please check out the mintages and let me know.
Our 1921 mintage was much lower for the halves than during the war.

As far as I know the 1921 5 cent and 50 cent are the only ones melted down in the 1920's. I believe the mintage was 206,398 for the 50 cent (with about 75 left it says in the price guide and only 3 known in mint state...but I suspect there may be more like 5 known but I can't be sure) and the mintage was 2,582,495 for the 5 cent (with about 480 known in all grades with the highest graded been a PCGS MS-67). Hope this helps.

I know your 1921 (U.S.A) 10$ gold coins are rare in MS-64 and above. I also follow a lot of the U.S market. Not as rare as the 1927-D or the 1933 doubles eagle or say the 10$ gold coins dated 1933.
