Hello there. I was wondering if anyone could help me to identify these coins. They look pretty old but I have no idea what they are because of the characters used on them ( or the lack of them).

The top one is Byzantine, a Class D "anonymous follis" attributed to the reign of emperor Constantine IX (AD 1042-1055). There's a nicer looking example on this Wildwinds page, scroll down to the one numbered SB 1836.

The second one is I think also Byzantine, a later type of anonymous follis; on the link I gave earlier, scroll right down to near the bottom, the one numbered SB 1900, Class J, dating from the reign of Alexius I (AD 1081-1118).
