Hello neighbors!

Went to go pick up a few upgrades today. 1953 being one of them. I couldn't decide which one I liked better, so I took them both. When I got home and really looked at them under magnification, I noticed the wheat stalk on the left side--on both, looks odd. Are they die cracks? They actually both look identical to each other.

Any ideas?

I came across this on a Wheat penny and was told it was not all that uncommon, unfortunately.

I believe someone said it was a die chip/crack
