While roll searching I noticed that the "2" on 1982 was flattened out compared to the rest of the font/writing, I just want to know if this coin is an error, or if it's just this way because of someone just stepping on it thanks for the help!

Looks PMD (post mint damage) Rolling/counting machines can do this. So not an error. Just a damaged coin.

There are 7 different varieties of 1982 Lincolns.

I don't think it was stepped on but it is just some kind of damage. Keep looking there's a lot of real errors and varieties to be found.
