Not sure if this is the place to post this. I have a box of old coins from other countries, some of them I can't even figure out where they are from, but this one was pretty easy. It is not in the best shape, but a neat coin. The obverse and reverse go the same way, which caught my attention, not used to that. What denomination is it? Is it a common coin?

It is, as it says, a "florin", or 2 shillings. As for the two sides being the "same way up", that's normal for 20th century British and British Empire.

It's fairly common and yours isn't in very good condition, but it's made of sterling silver so it's by no means worthless.

Thank you for the information, I am having so much fun finding out information on the coins that I have.

Thank You ScoutJim99, It's taken me a couple days, but I think I have finally figured out how to get some good pictures, not all but some.
