Hello

I am new member. I am numismatic from Slovakia I colecting medieval hungary denars and I know really nothing about modern coins. My friend give me very nice gift. Maybe Proof coin from Cyprus.

Please let me have some questions.

A- I hear that exist 2 version of this coin Silver, and Nickel with Cu, How can I find which type I have. I weigh my coin on my scale. The coin was weight with plastic cover and the result is - 32,16g ( together with plastic cover )

B- I have this coin only with plastic cover without box or certificate, please what is value of this coin in this condition ?

ps: sorry for ugly photos is evening and I have only bad light

Hello Stredo, and welcome to the Coin Community forums! :) Unfortunately both versions (Ag and Cu-Ni) have the same size/diameter and the same weight. Judging from the description you posted, I'd say yours is the silver coin, as it looks like a proof piece to me. But I'm not sure, sorry ...

Hello Stredo, because I have both versions it is verry easy , the coin without the box and certificate is the nickel one,and the coins with the box are the silver ones.As I have both of them and put them one next to the other I can see the silver one is lighter then the nickel one.Hope this helps.
