This is my cleanest coin in the collection. I dated it to 73 AD Is that correct?

There's a letter I can't make out but I believe it's a "P" (see question mark) AVG "?" DOMITIAN

Domitian-Cos-II

I believe this is a coin commemorating a naval victory over Judea.

Versipelis,

It's great to have you on board at CCF:

Just in case you are unaware of this tool for IDing coins, try plugging in some info. from your coin to see if it answers your questions:

Your letter is an F for filius = son. The legend reads: "Of Caesar Augustus (Vespasian) the son Domitian Consul for the second time."

Man, I had dickens of a time finding this particular coin. I believe I finally found it. I believe it is an AE As, RIC II 707, page 97, struck under Vespasian in 72 AD. Does your reverse legend read" VICTORIA NAVALIS"? If I am right, according to my copy of Sear's Roman Coins and their Values, in fine condition it should be worth near $100. I'm not so sure your coin would garner this price, but I would think market value might be $60-$75. Just a pure guess on my part.
