1701-George-III-Coin.

1701-George-III-Coin.

It almost has the look of gold, but I'm thinking this must be some kind of fake since George III wasn't king until 1760.

Some help on this would be greatly appreciated.

These are card counters or gambling chips. The dates are deliberately anachronistic to avoid charges of forgery.
Go to the top left of the screen to "Search Coin Community" and enter Spade Guinea.

Lots of info.
