The coin says " in hoc signo vinces" and looks very old!

Its the first coin on my post and if you scroll down I have included another picture of the reverse side

In Hoc Signo Vinces, In This Sign You Will Conquer, was commonly seen on Portuguese coins. I'm not sure if this carried over to the Portuguese colony of Brasil.
The shorter version, IHS was/is also the seal of the Jesuits.
