How many are there? I have at least two other designs I believe are in the memorial issue.

There are three coins to the series Claudius II, Maximianus, and Constantius I, I'm just waiting for the Claudius II to arrive to complete the series.

I wasn't aware of this series until recently it's rather uncommon but not rare. I don't know how many mints struck them but so far I have one from Thessalonica and the other from Siscia. I'm waiting for one more coin Claudius II to arrive which will complete the series.

Need to find out more about this set, only takes 3 coins to complete, cool coin, has nice details, can't wait to see coin 3, you need to post all 3 coins when you get the last one..

Actually I like your coin a lot echizento, I just got back to town and haven't read any posts for awhile, it's nicely centered with good detail and legends and has a rather mysterious quality about it.

Please do show all three toghether when you get them. BTW nice photo too.

Definitely a nice coin. Too expensive for me. Odds are coming across one at a low price would be low.

I've seen a couple for approximately $80-$100. Looks like you got a decent deal for that coin.

I am not familiar with the style of this particular coin.

Would love to see pictures posted of coins with similar style.
I would then be happier, and to have my uneasieness allayed.

Interesting series, I only have one of them, the Maximian, congrats on getting all three

I find it amazing Constantine would commemorate a man he killed because he rebelled against him.

My coin is in this thread Sel, though the picture is not great.

I really don't know the answer to that. I can only speculate it was because of politics. And perhaps, oddly enough there was some respect there despite Constantine I defeating Maximianus' armies and his death.

I can't verify this right now. I don't recall Constantine I issuing any coins for Diocletian. lol
