Just Found This Coin in Tip Jar Today.

It's color and surface attract my eyes. Looks Different from others.

Just wondering it's Grading and somehow it looks Just Different from others.

Whats attracting you is the super sharp strike. Definitely Au58. Could be the first coinage from a new die.

Maybe the coin was removed from an UNC set? This would look different to most. The color looks OK but it could be the lighting with your camera. One thing for sure, at least from my experience, the good folks here on CCF won't steer you wrong.

Sharp strikes always are more desireable. If I were in the market for circulated 1996 quarters I would definitely consider purchasing your coin. If you find it interesting, keep it. Welcome to coin collecting!
