I am choosing this topic because I think we may have more members with coins that match this category. This category does not include any animal with wings or that lives in the water. It also does not include mythological creatures. And since we already had horses for a topic, they too are excluded (NO HUMANS either).

1) Two (2) coins max. per Member.
2) Anything with a land animal, large or small. EXCEPTIONS: NO HORSES OR MYTHOLOGICAL ANIMALS
3) Voting: vote for 3 coins in order of preference. I am changing the point system back to Gold (4pts), Silver (2pts), Bronze (1pt).
4) Host announces the winner. Winner chooses next Smackdown Subject and is host.
5) You do not have to enter a coin to vote but please do try to enter something.
6) Base your votes on an criteria you like, eye appeal, life-like busts, rarity, quality, anything you like.
7) Final decision if two coins have the same score and the same number of golds will be the hosts choice.
8) Enjoy.

Entries Begin Immediatley and Submission Ends @ 22:00hrs EST USA, Friday, September 7th.
Voting will last 1 day. Ending at 22:00hrs Saturday September 8th.

So, lets begin lucky 13!

Well, this topic is on fire! I hope this is a good topic and that more members can submit coins. Since I cannot win, I will start things off with a coin of mine. It a Denarius of Titus, RIC 115, struck at Rome in 80 AD:

In a lot of cases I have poorer examples than those that have been pictured so far.

I think I will just sit back and enjoy!

You know SEL, I don't think that is a good enough reason for you to spectate I think you should still enter the coins you have, as the point is not to win the Smackdown but to show off the coins to people who in other circumstances would never see them.

I'm surprised at the lack of entrants so far. I expected to see coins of Gallienus' zoo series, or more wolves, cows, bulls, etc. C'mon. Get them coins out and show them off. Win or lose does not matter. We want to see animal coins.

I noticed there always seems to be a Constantine City Commemorative coin posted in these Smackdowns very very very popular coin, with interesting style.
