Okay, so the story begins.
It was Monday the 27th of July, about 9:00 AM and I was out thrifting and doing my thing. Get this, I was running on 0 hours of sleep, pulled an allnighter that day by accident, pretty much was on the forums here for most of that night...

I went to a coinstar in a location where I've gone for the past 9 years. This is one of the first coinstars I ever checked when I was about 8 years old. This supermarket is so outdated they still have payphones on the walls by the pharmacy.
So, walked up to the coinstar, and saw this box in the trash.

From a distance I could see a bunch of odds and ends in the box, and then I saw a bunch of change.
Here's a live picture of the box when I got it back in my car. It was a strange walk back to the car, kind of embarrassing to be entirely honest. Some guy walking out of a supermarket with a box of trash, strange huh?

So I couldn't wait, I was in my hot car and just HAD to look at what I got. I was flipping through some coins and then I noticed something out of the ordinary.. Out of the canadian coins and the coins stuck together, there was this odd ball looking straight at me.

I could barely make out the image of the reverse wreath from an
Indian Head cent. Keep in mind, I was dropping all these bombs and thinking and talking out loud "Why the he** would anyone throw this away? WHAT?"
Got home, checked it out some more. And what I saw blew me away.

Looking at it more closely, I noticed the obverse is completely toasted and gone. That made me PO'd, but I wanted to know what year this was from. Kept looking, and looking, and then it came to me. I looked at the rim.
And the rim was indeed the thickness of a copper-nickel indian.
Therefore, I found an 1860-1864 FATTY indian IN THE TRASH! It's in rough condition, but it's my best find from a coinstar ever. I'd take this find over the 10 silver dimes I've found (well maybe not, but whatever) everyday.
