Here was an interesting find at our local Meijer store, 17 Russian coins and two pieces of plastic U.S. play money.

We looked up the exchange rate and discovered that all the Russian coins are worth about nine cents U.S.

Forgot to mention that we found a beat-up clad dime and a Shield cent in the reject tray a few days ago. Not much, but I guess money is money. Or I should say currency is currency

Found $0.31 in the Coinstar reject tray today, or rather the wife did. The small haul included a clad quarter, a zinc cent, and a 1977 Canadian nickel, which I believe is actually 99.9% nickel.

two nights ago the publix coinstar machine yielded a 1968 canadian quarter (50% silver!), a 2005 2-cent euro from spain and a 2014 10 kopiyok from ukraine. I believe that's the first ukraine coin I've ever found.
