I just came across this stack of crisp $2 bills. The serial starts on 04181900 and goes to 04182000. They were just taken out of the plastic wrapping the BEP uses.
Anyways, I didn't know if there's a way to search for members with birthdays on any of these dates. (April 18th 1900 - April 18th 2000).
These dates have been claimed by other members:

Those are really nice birth date notes too. Definitely worth keeping.
So someone took out one note of that run and replaced it with another? That is pretty strange.

Hi Wquinn,
Lol no no no. Members have asked to buy certain dates. So far only 2 are gone, the 1968 and 1972 years have been claimed.
Thanks, ~JobIII

So how did you get a pack of 101 notes then?

Ahhh. Now I see. I pulled the 1900 note from the previous strap so I'd have from 1900 - 2000. Just in case anyone wanted it. I figure for Birthday / Special Dates it will be limited to 1960 - 2000, but since these are $2 bills it's not that big a deal to hold a little extra just in case.

That makes sense. You never know about the ones with the dates in the 1800s, since it could be someone's great grandparent. My grandfather was born in 1888, so you never know who might want one.

I hope no one asks for bills that far back. I'm returning the other notes today :)

Hey, Joblll! As I posted in a recent thread, I managed to snag a strap of $2 bills with serial numbers 04231901 - 04232000. I tried selling the entire strap on ebay for $400 and didn't get any takers. I just got a bunch of currency sleeves and plan to start listing them on ebay for $20 a pop as soon as I get around to it.

Hi BarryG, I remember when you found them, and looked at the listing on ebay. I didn't consider ebay simply because the hassle listing / photo graphs / etc. Good Luck! Hopefully your dates are popular :) ~JobIII
