This is a coin of the Roman emperor Claudius II (268-270 AD). The obverse legend reads IMP C CLAVIDVS AVG. I believe the rverse legend is SALVS AVG and depicts Isis standing left holding sistrum and basket. The coin type is known as Antoninianus and it is real.

That reminds me of this coin:

The back is different, but the front looks the same?

Any ideas?

aardspeed, your coin is of Roman Emperor Gallienus (253-260AD) and is one of his 'zoo coins'.

I think the reverse shows a Gazelle.
