I'd like to thank you all especially Auldfartte, scoutjim, and tykemiester for posting images of your notes. I've always liked foriegn notes and have a few from my travels around the world but have never actively collected them, world coins always making it back home in my backpack, while the notes were converted to badly needed US currency. I'd forgotten how much I enjoyed the colors, designs, histories etc. You all have posted some works of art; they are truly beautiful! You guys have sparked my interest in a big way and as soon as I come accross a little money, I'm gonna start a world collection, starting with countries I've had the pleasure of visiting. Thank you and keep this section moving around the world!

What countries do you want to start off with. Your native origin has a lot of really cool notes to collect

Hey scoutjim, My native origin is Texas. I'd love to have some old TX currency someday. I think I'll start with countries I've been to in the South Pacific like New Zealand, Fiji, Australia and then countries in Asia and Africa that I've visited like Nepal, Thailand, Japan, China, Burma, Laos, Tanzania, and Kenya. Then I'll move on to countries in Europe and countries I want to visit such as Iceland and Argentina.
