I actually have two of these quarters same year very similar "rays" from the antlers and letters.

VERY common on 2001P quarters and dimes. The dimes are actually tough to find without this problem. I believe that I read that it had something to do with the RCM not perfecting the plating process as 2001 was the first year that they were issuing nickel plated steel coins.
