09/13 81 AD Titus was Roman Emperor from 79 to 81. He died in the villa at Aquae Cutiliae, the same spot where his father Vespasian had died three years prior. He was a member of the Flavian dynasty and Vespasian's eldest son. Titus succeded his father upon his death, thus becoming the first Roman emperor to come to the throne after his own father's death.

09/14 23 AD Drusus, son of Tiberius, dies at Rome. His wife Livilla and her lover, Sejanus, were later implicated in Drusus' murder. If Drusus was murdered, it was done so skillfully that his death gave rise to no suspicion, since he had a reputation for heavy drinking. Sejanus (in 25) asked for Livilla's hand in marriage but Tiberius forbade it.

09/14 217 AD Diadumenian The colosseum (Flavian Ampitheter) was severly damaged by lighting during events celebrating Diadumenian's ninth birthday. He was the son of the Roman emperor Macrinus, and served his father briefly as Ceasar (May 217â€"218) and as Augustus (in 218). He fled Calchedon after his father's defeat and was captured en-route to Parthia. He was executed at the age of 10 years old.
