I have a Madison Mint "Our Father" 1oz bar, but, unlike the others I can find on ebay, the one I have has a black enamel. I can't find a picture of any other one anywhere. Can anyone give me an estimate of the value of this item?!

I decided to post it on ebay for $75. I found other types of similar bars with enamel going for 170+

Are they selling for $170 or is that just what people are asking for them. Remember, you can ask whatever you want for an item, until you find a buyer, they aren't worth that. With that being said, unless you find someone looking for that particular bar, I can't see it going for much more over spot.

I'm confused. Your original post stated you had the "Out Father" bar in enamel.

Then, you linked a buffalo bar and stated that yours has no enamel...

I was showing Jokingjoker an example of an enameled bar that sold for $180

Based on my research...unless it is a Disney themed or Athletic Team themed bar, they all sell for $50 or less. I would price accordingly

You could very well get it, Nelson. Very few people on this site that I've talked with are actively seeking art bars and even less would pay anything above spot for one. There was a great price guide dedicated to them that came out in 1991 that I'd love to have but it consistently sells for over $200! Over the years, I've seen many art bars end on ebay well past $50. Certain Coke bars are just one example that people may know. Actually, there's a bar I've been trying to win for quite a while that's currently sitting at $52 with less than a day to go. I'll probably be outbid at $55, though. Like with most coins, rounds, and bars, it's all about rarity, and I'm thinking that this one's fairly rare since I'm unfamiliar with it and it looks to be in very good condition (I'm assuming it's from the late 1970's or 1980's but could be wrong). If you get no bites, consider trying the auction format, instead. It should garner a lot of interest.

Not knowing anything about art bars, I would be tempted to see what other similar bars are selling for and then charge that or a bit less. Don't short-change yourself. You can always come down in price if you need to to move it.
