Got this at the bank today. I just politely asked the teller if they had any old money and at first she said no. She then said oh wait and pulled out a folder with this 100 in there.

So I have recurring dreams about finds like this, and I pursue the quest diligently, but never have this kind of spectacular good fortune... Others just walk in, ask politely, and get handed this! Seriously, you were very fortunate to get this note, you have my congratulations, and thanks for saving a beauty from the BPE incinerator...

Thanks! It was surprising to me to get this at the bank. Out of curiously, any idea what it might be worth?

Judging from sold bills on ebay, you're looking at about $150, give or take 10 dollars.

Congrats on the awesome find! You are quite lucky. A week or two later, and it might have been turned in to be destroyed.

Wow, I haven't seen any old 100s dating close to that in a while. Great find!

I guess with the economy people are cashing in their old money. I'm not gonna try to sell it. I think I will hang onto it and pass it along to my daughter when she's older. She's only 6 months old so I have awhile but that's ok :). I like the thrill of collecting this older currency and not about making a quick buck.
