I bought a pair of "Sierra Sid's Sparks, NV $7" tokens for my brother in law for his birthday, as he is a trucker. My coin dealer told me the guy who sold them to him was a driver himself, and the owner of this truckstop would give them out to regulars when they passed through.
It says it's .999 silver, and it feels and weights about right. I paid $40 for two of them, which is a great deal if they are legit. He also has some that are from the same place, but are bimetallic, apearing to be a silver center ringed in either brass or copper.
Anyone have any knowledge of these tokens? Here is a pic of mine:
