09/18 96 AD Domitian was murdered in the Imperial Palace; buried in the Temple of the Flavian Family. He was Roman Emperor from 81 to 96. Domitian was the third and last emperor of the Flavian dynasty.

09/18 324 AD Constantine soundly defeats Licinius at Chrysopolis. He was Roman Emperor from 306 to 337. Well known for being the first Roman emperor to convert to Christianity, Constantine and co-Emperor Licinius issued the Edict of Milan in 313, which proclaimed tolerance of all religions throughout the empire.

09/19 86 AD Antoninus Pius born at Lanuvium. He was Roman Emperor from 138 AD to 161 AD. He was a member of the Nerva-Antonine dynasty and the Aurelii. He acquired the name Pius after his accession to the throne, either because he compelled the Senate to deify his adoptive father Hadrian, or because he had saved senators sentenced to death by Hadrian in his later years.
