So, I couldn't just stop at the two I got last weekend, and had something of a mini-splurge over the past few days. I'm going into self-imposed ebay exile for the next while! Anyway, here are the results of my binge...

This guy is a Constans As.

You certainly did splurge, but some very nice coins. I especially like the Constantius II, Trier Mint, GLORIA EXERCITVS. Very nice detail. Have you attributed them yet?

Good spot dougsmit. The seller has it down as P*G. I'll have a look when I get my hands on it.

jwharper...I haven't done anything yet. Gonna wait until I get them in my hand before I start my researches. What exactly do you mean by "attributing them" though? Just their general history, or something more specific?

When I say attribute I mean identifying which RIC number or catalog number (i.e., BM or SNG France)with which the coin is associated. For example, the Philip coin I just posted is attributed to "SNG France 1262" and the Maximianus Follis is attributed with "RIC VI 25b". Attributing in this manner helps to identify the coin and is a way to keep your own catalog.
