Anthony10307 New Member United States 20 Posts	Posted 09/23/2012 07:56 am About 20 years ago I bought a lot of Canadian coins, from 1910 onward - including a 1932 50c, which had a mintage of 19,213 (can't remember how much I paid for it). Has the same mintage as the coveted and mostly overrated 1948 silver dollar, but with less demand, which is why the trend value makes it a sleeper Key date! Glenn Report this Post to the Staff

The US didn't even mint halves, dimes, or nickels for a few years. They even stopped making quarters for a year! Report this Post to the Staff

Senex Valued Member 291 Posts	Posted 09/24/2012 08:32 am The 1932 50¢ is an undervalued item, IMO. Scarce in high grades, even VG examples are tough. I have several ICCS graded ones in VG to F and pick them up whenever the price is right. A definite sleeper in any grade. Report this Post to the Staff
