Very nice. So you got it for $30 per oz even with the price bump? I picked up 5 1 oz Libertads on Friday at $2 over. They are a great design.

yup I bought it when silver was at 27 and some change my dealer did 3 over spot which made it 30 an oz... my dealer has layaway plans so I just put it on layaway! finally paid it off and now this is my favorite piece in my entire collection!

Am really happy for you...I like libertads a lot! Just have to confess though...your plans for your layaway seem of poor taste. I used to own a store where people could put items on lay away as well, and some people took advantage of it where they would put it on lay away...then list it on ebay...if it sold for a profit they would come back and buy it...if not they would cancel it. At first I was kind enough to give them store credit for their deposits but when I found out what they were doing I not only kept their deposit but asked them to no longer frequent my business. Be careful what you do or you might end up in the same boat. You should always look at a lay away as a contract and not just use it by bending it to your benefit....bad karma there.

Beautiful...and I love the backdrop of the photo. Reminds me of a time when silver was popularly known as "real" money.

That is a terrific item you picked up at a very good price. I am surprised that a dealer allows lay-away on bullion items. One would think that this would not be especially good for the long-term viability of the dealer's business. Nice catch on your part, though.
