Well, newuser2012, it is quite obvious to me that you have a religious medal of some kind.
The appearance of a halo around the head signifies a Roman Catholic saint.
I do not know if the Church of England also portrays saints with halos.

That being said, you might try a religious Internet site.
The tonsure (haircut) is indicative of a monk.

Yes, St. B and it is in latin.
Looks pewter to me. Try to decipher the rest of the letters.
No idea on it's age though. Nice medal anyway.

College was not nearly as bad as high school. Drug and alcohol induced weekends made up for the 9 to 5 of the school week.
The Latin in the front is so stylized that I cannot make it out.
Our friend in Britain got a lead and sometimes that is the best that we can do.
