This is fun! Thanks for the contest.

Looks like the coin is pretty small... I am going to take a wild stab and go with my gut feeling... is it a 10 Ore 1954 from Denmark (18 mm diameter)?

Am I at least somewhat close with something?

diameter is almost the same as the US 1cent, and the equator is near it's place, that takes out about 90% of the countries! more clues, hints, tips to follow.. keep on guessing we'r almost in the region!
