I am throwing my friends (I am trying to get him to become a member) 1917 Type I SLQ (and some others) on the table for opinions. He is attacking his slabbed 7070 with some serious aggression and has already jumped into the gold page (another thread). What does the CCF has to say about this PCGS graded coin?

Thanking you in advance!

I'm new to grading SLQs, but I'll take a shot and say AU-55

AU50/53

I have a PCGS 58 and I would be surprised if they graded this one the same. I'd send mine back in demanding an MS state. No offense of course...

Funny, shows you what I know! I was going to say 50 at best. Looks more like wear than strike to me. My knee-jerk was 45. But my goodness what a beautiful coin!
