So I got these two a few years back, and I am fairly certain as to the RIC# of the first (from Antioch): RIC VI52a. However, I really cannot find a matching RIC on wildwinds since my coin from Aquileia has the mint mark "AQS" with Genius holding a patera as opposed to a scale. Any help would be appreciated!

I just had a look on Helvetica's. There are several that could be a match. RIC numbers 22a, 23a, 25a all seem to match. Take a look at Dane's list and see which one you think best matches.

BTW, where have you been lately? I haven't noticed any posts from you.

The Antioch is incredible Nice pick-up.

The Aquileia looks like RIC VI Aquileia 25a to me, hopefully someone can confirm this as for some reason I'm thinking I have missed something.

23a is a small bust so its a possibility, sometimes difficult to be sure without seeing a few examples, I thought Archrazs looked more like a large bust. 22a is an 'IMP C' so at least that one can be discounted.

bobbyhelmet & jwharper- thanks for the input! But doesn't 25a have a mintmark of "AQP" ?

jwharper- Thanks for the complement! I was happy to get this one back in 2010. oh, and I have been lurking the forum, but I just haven't been buying as many uncleaned lots as of late. But I'll be around.

Looking at the two coins, the second one looks like the smaller head to me. I'm thinking 23a. Two very nice coins, the first ones a beauty.

It can be AQP or AQS for 23a and 25a and the RIC stays the same.

I'm happy that yours is indeed the 25a now - below is an example of a 23a with the so called 'small head', compared to yours its possible to see the difference.

I know what you mean, I think this is why I was doubting it myself, gotta remember Antioch heads are usually HUGE so everything looks small when they are around

The pic I've just posted gives a much better perspective to compare to.

I see the difference now Bobby thanks for posting that coin, though the head on the second coin does appear to be smaller than the first. Your example is even smaller that #2.
